Pay with your rewards for almost anything
Three short films showing just how simple it can be to use your American Express Rewards on everyday things: a coffee, a takeaway, or a taxi.
We kept the set very minimal and clean in Amex blue, then created illustrations for each reward item. By showing these illustrations to the actors and filming specific movements, the final composite makes it look as though the drawings are being created out of light as they move.
It’s a simple but effective style. The way the light bounces on the actors’ faces is one of my favourite details – that was a real practical light on set, carefully choreographed to follow their movements and sell the illusion.
