Fun social primers for curious kids.
Full of imagination, patience and heart.
With Eddie, every day is a new adventure!
Meet Eddie: a kind, giggly, brilliantly imaginative little boy - who happens to be autistic.
Alongside his best friends Nina and Akil, his cheerful dog Scout, and a cast of other fun characters, he explores everyday life and how to handle new situations. From learning to ride a bike or going to the dentist, to putting his head under water or trying new foods, each story gently helps Eddie – and the audience – build confidence.
Ready Eddie GO! was at the centre of my life for two years. Over that time, the team created 52 x 7‑minute episodes of calm, engaging social primers, each one helping Eddie navigate the world in a reassuring and relatable way.

And even better, I got to work with an amazing bunch of talented folk and loved every minute of it!
As art director, I was involved from the very beginning right through to delivery. I helped shape every aspect of Eddie’s visual world, from the initial concept, colour palettes, and character designs to the tactile textures and overall look and feel. We aimed for something calm, uncluttered, and gently paced, while still feeling bright, friendly, and sensory. I worked closely with director Justin Lowings at every stage.

Starting from the scripts, I would sketch out ideas for scenes that could be shared with storyboard artists and environment and prop modellers. I mocked up visuals for the 3D team, as every prop, piece of furniture, tree, house, and pencil had to be built from scratch. Before animation, I collaborated with the layout artist to make sure each shot felt just right before it moved on to the character animators.

After animation, I created any 2D graphics that needed to be composited over the footage. Once episodes were complete, there was still plenty to do: artwork for promotional materials, social media, books, and merchandise. Watching everything come together was genuinely exciting, and being part of the Ready Eddie GO! team is something I’m incredibly proud of.
